The TGE (trigger guard extension) or AFG was developed to allow a second hand to steady the pistol. It acts like a magwell similar to the AR15 pistol. This TGE does not meet the requirement of a vertical grip as the TGE has a 10° angle on the front and will not allow the hand to fully wrap around the TGE. So it is not perpendicular to the bore of the pistol.
